We offer psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care that is individually orientented to the needs of our patients. We use various therapy methods to specifically address different mental illnesses and life situations. Acute treatments and crisis interventions are just as much a part of our services as short-term and long-term therapies. Our aim is to achieve a lasting improvement in mental health of our patients.
Our services are aimed at people who are suffering from the consequences of experiences of flight, trauma and loss and who are mentally ill.

A currently valid health insurance with one of the statutory German health insurers is required for treatment.
People who are seeking asylum in Germany and have asylum status (according to ?2 AsylbLG) can be treated at the GZF.
Treatment at the IGZ focuses on people with a history of migration and flight, regardless of their residence status. People who start a treatment at the GZF and then get a residence permit can continue the treatment at the IGZ (only psychotherapeutic treatment, not psychiatric treatment!).

- By registering via the contact form, you will automatically be placed on our waiting list. You can use your # number to make inquiries about waiting times or to let us know if you no longer require treatment.
- You will be invited to an appointment to determine your concerns and treatment needs.
- After the initial diagnosis, the focus is on psychological conversations and/or drug treatment to alleviate psychological complaints and facilitate individual changes.
